$25,000 donated to Salvation Army

Woodstock's Salvation Army family services director was brought to tears after a local family donated $25,000 for their Christmas campaign.
"It's amazing. It's the best Christmas gift ever," said Vanessa Scotney-Page, of the Salvation Army.
Instead of handing out vendor and customer appreciation gifts this year, the VanHaeren family decided to present the local Salvation Army with a generous gift on behalf of their companies, Uvalux and Trigon.
The VanHaerens hope to encourage other local business to support the Salvation Army this season.
"Lots of local people need help and we hope this will drive others to help as well," said Nik VanHaeren.
